Schwann cells

Non-myelinating Schwann cells are associated with multiple unmyelinated axons.  These axons indent the plasma membrane of the Schwann cell to become invested by a single Schwann cell membrane.  Myelinated axons, however, are surrounded with many wrappings of the membrane.  40,000x
