Blood: Lymphocyte

This lymphocyte with its distinct heterochromatic, spherical nucleus is located in connective tissue after its migration from the blood. Its morphology would be similar in either location. This lymphocyte has a moderate amount of cytoplasm and, thus, is either a medium lymphocyte or is in the process of transforming into a plasma cell. 7000x
