Intratesticular ducts

The rete testis is a network of anastomosing channels receiving sperm from the straight portions of the seminiferous tubules. The rete is lined by a simple cuboidal epithelium, each cell possessing microvilli and a single cilium. Rete channels connect with efferent ducts that pass out of the test and connect with the duct of the epididymis in the head of the epididymis. 800x
