Epididymis

A longitudinal section of the epididymis reveals its comma shape. The epididymis is divided into a head region, a body and a tail. The head contains both the efferent ducts coiled into cone shapes, as well as the duct of the epididymis; the body and tail both contain only the single duct of the epididymis. The section shown here consists only of the head and body of the epididymis. 10x
