Bell stage of tooth development
During the bell stage of tooth development, the enamel organ grows into a bell shape. Cytodifferentiation of the stem cells in the enamel organ and dental papilla is progressing and the dental lamina begins to degenerate. This is also the stage when the morphology of the tooth is determined (morphodifferentiation). The successional lamina is not visible in this section.
