Retina

The retina forms the multilayered inner tunic.  Its posterior portion is photosensitive, while its anterior portion, lining the ciliary body and posterior portion of the iris, is not light responsive.  The junction of the photosensitive and nonsensory regions, the ora serrata, is located just posterior to the ciliary body. 10x
