Continuous capillary

Continuous capillaries are plentiful in the lung, where gas exchange occurs between air in the lung and blood in the capillaries. This exchange occurs in small air sacs called alveoli whose wall contains numerous capillaries. Red and white blood cells can be seen in some of these capillaries.
