Intratesticular ducts
Sperm, released from the germinal epithelium lining the convoluted portions of the seminiferous tubules, are transported through three intratesticular tubules to reach the epididymis: convoluted portions of the seminiferous tubule; straight portions (tubuli recti) of the seminiferous tubule; and rete testis. The rete, in turn, transports sperm from the mediastinum through the tunica albuginea and into the efferent ducts of the head of the epididymis. 100x
